Permission to slag

The internet is the source of all things entertaining, yet I have to wonder are we laughing with these people or at  them? Then again, the line is very thin. There’s a new internet sensation by the name of phat gay kid. Phat, not fat although he does admit to both. I know a while ago Ms. Panti posted one of his videos on her blog, but my love for this special odd boy is growing and I decided to share it.

He is the campest thing I have ever seen and he is comfortable in himself. Apart from the odd noises that seem to spill out of him, he is a harmless creature. But I couldn’t help read the comments people left behind. It seems that although he is the source of entertainment, often this comes with a very negative side to it. But then again, if people willingly publish themselves, are they giving us permission to dismiss them?

Check him out for yourself and decide amongst the very accepting people that are usually found drunk in a pub. He is perfect for that environment.

This guy's video are probably the campest things I have ever witnessed! Whilst I'm not really a fan of the videos themselves, I do think it's great that this guy has found a way to express himself and entertain others! In a way I suppose he's asking for abuse really. I really think YouTube should be doing more to censor such blatant homophobia. I remember when I was younger, similar comments were left on that 'LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE' guys page! In my innocent youth...I remember thinking- 'Oh my god..that's what everyone thinks about gay people'. Criticisms are to be expected- after all, it's just various people's opinion. However, there is a big difference between @diln5 saying 'It's amazing what people? will do to get a little attention these days' and @Taylorbush declaring 'lol ur so ba....
