MISI 2015 Sexual Health Report Finds 42% Of Respondents Don't Know What PEP Is

The MISI 2015 Sexual Health Report is out now, and here are some of the most interesting findings for Men who have sex with men (MSM)

 

The MISI (MSM Internet Survey Ireland) revealed some interesting statistics about where gay and bi men meet for sex, what percentage of them had been diagnosed with an STI and more.

Now, we’ve got even more interesting stats for you.

Did you know that 33% of MSM have used poppers in the last twelve months? No? Maybe you knew that 17% of MSM have used ecstasy?

According to the survey’s results, a high percentage of men did not know about PEP. 42% of respondents did not know that PEP attempts to stop HIV infection taking place after a person is exposed to the virus.
