A radical Muslim extremist wanted in connection with the murder of two gay men in Seattle is believed to have targeted his victims using social networking app, Grindr.

Gay Star News reports that Ali Muhammad Brown (pictured) is on the run following the murder of two men in Seattle on June 1, and a robbery at a New Jersey coffee shop.

Law enforcement officials have said they suspect that Brown, 30, used Grindr to arrange a meeting with victims Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young before murdering them. Police are treating the killings as religiously motivated hate crimes.

Seattle’s Police department allege that Brown met the men on Grindr after they left a popular local gay bar and drove to one of the victim’s houses with the men before shooting them to death.

Brown is believed to have undergone jihadist training in California earlier this year and attacked simply because their sexual orientation offended what police say are Brown’s radical Muslim beliefs, sources told Seattle’s Q13 FOX News.

A nationwide manhunt for Brown continues.
