Members of political punk group Pussy Riot were attacked with horsewhips by Cossack militia, for performing under a sign advertising the Sochi Olympics.

The entire incident was caught on film by one reporter. The clip clearly shows the Cossacks, an auxiliary police force in the region, whipping and violently ripping masks from Pussy Riot members heads. In the horrific video, the Cossacks are seen to be hitting group member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova with a whip as she lay on the ground.

Members of Pussy Riot have already been arrested several times this week, for their ongoing public protests of the Sochi Olympics.
