Police in Texas have arrested a father in connection with the murder of his daughter and her girlfriend last week.

 
James Larry Cosby has been charged with two counts of tampering with evidence in connection with the death of his daughter, Britney Cosby, and her girlfriend Crystal Jackson, both 24. He was arrested after blood and other evidence was found in his home in Houston when Police went to interview him this week.

Local news channel KHOU have reported that Cosby, 46, is currently being held in Galveston County Jail. Earlier this week, a distraught Cosby spoke to media about his daughter’s death, saying,  “You can’t really put something like this into words.”

Meanwhile, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office has revealed new information regarding the alleged murders of both women. Authorities believe that Britney Cosby died from blunt force trauma. Crystal Jackson, a mother of a five year-old daughter, was shot.

A delivery man discovered the bodies of the women outside a convenience store in Port Bolivar, Texas last week.
