TV personality Rylan Clark has announced that he is going to tie the knot with his long term boyfriend.

The former X Factor singer, who shot to fame after appearing in the 2012 series, announced that he got engaged to 2013 Big Brother contestant and former police officer Dan Neal while on a romantic trip to Paris.

Rylan, 25, made the announcement on Twitter along with posting a selfie with his new fianceé.

According to sources close to the lovebirds, it was Dan that proposed to Rylan. He reportedly got down on one knee while on a romantic trip to the aptly named ‘City of Love’.

Rylan and Dan have been dating for over a year after meeting on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, a spin-off show that was co-hosted by Rylan.
