Tom, a thirteen year-old student, came out as trans to his classmates – and thanks them for being so supportive.

In the video posted on Reddit, Tom talks about his struggle to come to terms with his gender identity – which lead to severe depression.

He tells his classmates, “In my heart I am still the same person. Whether you like that person or not, it’s me.”
