Last night’s 2016 Met Gala had some seriously eye-catching outfits. This year’s theme was “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”.
Fashion in an Age of Technology was the 2016 Met Gala theme which inspired some celebrities to go full-on Robocop last night for their red-carpet looks. Here’s our top five crazy looks of the night!
5.
Coming in at number five, is Lady Gaga. Her circuitry inspired jacket is jolting and her angular silhouette is reminiscent of the days when you couldn’t read her P-P-P-Poker Face.
4.
Coming in at number four is Emma Watson. Ok fine, it mightn’t particularly fit with the technology inspired theme, and maybe she missed the Tin Foil Fashion memo, but this dress is pure magic on Ms. Watson.
3.
Coming in at number three solo artist Zayn Malik is giving C3P0 a run for his money with this surprisingly striking robotic look. Who wouldn’t mind seeing Zayn in just his armour?
2.
Speaking of armour, does anyone have a helmet for the next guy on the list? Kanye West (and Kim Kardashian) coming in at number two… there are no words.
1.
And finally, topping our list and looking positively radiant with one of the best medleys of technology and fashion of the night, Claire Danes wins the 2016 Met Gala.
So there you have it – our top five craziest outfits from the 2016 Met Gala. Do you agree?
