With the Children and Family Relationships Bill going to cabinet in the next few months, while more and more gay and lesbian couples are choosing to have children, same-sex parenting in Ireland is in a state of change.

With this in mind, GCN will be hosting an early evening event at the beginning of November in Dublin City Centre to discuss the challenges facing lesbian and gay couples who want to become parents, from both a medical and legal perspective.

GCN will be inviting a panel of Irish and international panelists, including surrogacy and fertility treatment specialists, legal professionals and political experts, to talk about all aspects of having children for both male and female couples in Ireland today, and what is the most likely scenario for future same-sex parenting in this country.

The event will take place on November 5 at The Westbury Hotel, from 6 to 8pm. There will be a wine reception on arrival.

If you are interested in attending this event, we would like to hear from you.
