What we do
GCN magazine has a print run of 5,000 copies, distributed across the island of Ireland in key locations where the community gathers, including LGBTQ+ bars, clubs, cafés, charity shops, cinemas, theatres, libraries, community resource centres, salons, barber shops, and more.
Our website attracts an average of 120,000 users per month, while our social media channels have a collective following of 100,000. Our weekly newsletter reaches 5,000 subscribers.
Throughout the year, GCN also hosts a range of in-person events that bring LGBTQ+ people together to have fun, celebrate, connect and build community. From prestigious award shows such as The GALAS, record-breaking Comedy Roasts, drag competitions, film screenings and pub quizzes, GCN’s events offer an opportunity to connect with our audience IRL.

What our advertisers say…
“GCN has played and continues to play an integral role in enabling ABSOLUT to speak directly to the LGBT community in a highly effective way. We are delighted to have a strong brand alliance with such a quality publication.”

IRISH DISTILLERS PERNOD RICARD
“GCN really helped out a lot in getting me there in the early days, and coming up with ideas for me to grow my business. It wasn’t long before word got around the gay scene. Then I started to get calls from television people asking me to do little segments on their shows, and then in came the heterosexuals!”
– Stephen Thomas,
STEPHEN THOMAS GROOMING FOR MEN
“The RTÉ Concert Orchestra cherishes its advertising relationship with GCN. It is a pleasure to advertise with an organisation that adds a personal touch to each campaign. Their genuine interest in the concerts that we advertise and their eagerness to accommodate extra requests, like Facebook competitions, makes for an all round happy partnership. Couple that with the respected, loyal readership of GCN and we have a very successful and exciting promotion channel.”
