Lea DeLaria returns to Conan – who knew she has such an awesome singing voice?!

While most people will know funnywoman, Lea DeLaria from ‘Orange is the New Black’ (or to go all 90s – Friends, ‘The One With The Lesbian Wedding’) a lot of fans may not know that she is also a jazz musician. Yep, a woman of many talents!

When she’s not hanging with her Litchfield buddies, DeLaria records music – and she has one hell of a voice! Her fifth and latest record is an album of David Bowie jazz covers. She appeared on Conan to talk about season three of Orange is the New Black, and gave him a little taster of her upcoming album.

DeLaria also talked about her time in a Catholic school and credits the nuns for making her funny. Hilarious.
