Win Tickets To See ‘In The Name Of’ At Light House Cinema this Friday, January 24.
*Competition Now Closed*
In the Name Of, directed by Malgorzata Szumowska, tells the story of Adam, a Catholic priest who works with teenagers with behavioural problems in a village in rural Poland. He declines the advances of a young blonde named Ewa, saying he is already spoken for. However, celibacy is not the only reason for his rejection. Adam recognises that his embrace of the priesthood has been a flight from his own sexuality. When he meets Lukasz, Adam’s self-imposed abstinence becomes a heavy burden.
In the Name Of will be screening in Light House Cinema from Friday, January 24. Book tickets here. It will available to stream on Volta from February 7.
