The suicide rate among LGBT teens is dangerously high – so, some LGBT seniors rallied together to make a heartfelt video message for kids struggling with their sexuality or sexual identity, as living proof that it really does “get better”.

Sam says, “Look at me, 80 years old. It gets better with age. It gets more respect. It gets… it’s funnier that I can laugh at some of the things that I’ve done. And my era was very difficult to be out, and yet I always found a laugh. I always found some humor.”
