Following the legalisation of same-sex marriage in the North last night, the cast and crew of Heels of Hell hopped on camera to join the celebrations that are continuing across the country today. The video is jam-packed with drag stars sharing their messages of congratulations to Northern Ireland gaining marriage equality.
Dublin’s own Victoria Secret shared the video saying; “Congratulations to all our ?️? family in Northern Ireland. The whole Heels of Hell cast and crew were very excited as we waited for midnight last night. Can’t wait until we can celebrate with you all next week. Get the bubbles out Jinjer Events!! #MarriageEqualityNI”
The star-studded cast included legendary Drag Race contestants like Alaska Thunderfuck, Latrice Royale and Adore Delano, as well as Dragula season 2 winner Biqtch Puddin’ and many more familiar faces; all excited about marriage equality passing in Northern Ireland.
Drag Race season 4 winner Sharon Needles joked that members of the LGBT+ community are now allowed to “officially get divorced” while Victoria Secret herself promised that the cast would “party hard” on their visit to Northern Ireland in the coming week to celebrate the important milestone.
The Heels of Hell tour will return to Dublin again this year with the highly-anticipated show scheduled for next Thursday, Halloween night! The line-up includes Sharon Needles, Alaska, Adore Delano, Miz Cracker, Latrice Royale, Kennedy Davenport, Courtney Act and Biqtch Puddin’. The show, hosted by Victoria Secret, will take place in Vicar St and is said to include amazing lip-syncing, dancing and live singing performances.
If the show itself wasn’t enough to keep you satisfied, both Mother and Dragged Up have teamed up to host the official after-party for the show – Drag Me To Hell. Downstairs on the main floor Dragged Up girls Regina George & Paul Ryder will be performing alongside the Mother DJs, while upstairs Pixie Woo will be blasting pop bangers late into the night.
Tickets are still available for both events, so join in on the festivities this Halloween and party with the queens to celebrate!
