Adam Lambert has recently admitted that he has slept with high-profile male closeted celebrities.
Referring to Hollywood’s leading men, the American Idol runner-up told Glamour Magazine magazine, “I’ve been with a few of them.”
In th June 2015 issue, the Ghost Town singer said that the machoism of corporate media was the reason why many celebrities are still in the closet. “Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that.”
He believes that with a primarily female audience, the sexuality of celebrities shouldn’t make a difference. “But with women being the primary moviegoers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”
“I have [slept with a woman] before,” Lambert told the magazine, “I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was kind of a random thing, but I was very curious. … It felt great. It was a friend of mine and there was tequila involved and a full moon and then suddenly [laughs].”Although openly gay his since an American Idol contestant in 2009, Lambert, 33, revealed that he had also had sex with women.
“I think women are beautiful – and I always notice when girls smell really good. Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women… I have slept with a woman before,” he said.
