‘Magic Mike’ star, Matt Bomer and ’30 Rock’ actor, Cheyenne Jackson, have officially joined the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel – the fifth season of the critically acclaimed horror series, while Jessica Lange won’t be returning.
Matt Bomer made the announcement over Twitter last night, confirming that he will star in the Emmy winning anthology.

Meanwhile, fans are devastated at the announcement of Jessica Lange’s exit from the series. The fan favourite, and AHS matriarch confirmed rumours at Paleyfest in Los Angeles yesterday. She told the crowd at Dolby Theatre, “We’ve had a great run here, I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I’ve had the opportunity to play … Forty years of acting and it’s never going to get better than this.
“Yes, I’m done. I loved this season. It was my absolute favorite.”
Little more is known about the series, or who the newly added cast members will portray.
The series is set to air in October of this year. Right in time for Halloween!
