Because when it comes to taking people’s money, Beyoncé doesn’t discriminate.
In all seriousness, Beyoncé has always shown herself to be somewhat of a straight ally – and now is no exception.
The Drunk In Love singer released a line of gay-inclusive underwear sets just in time for Valentine’s Day. The range includes his & hers, his & his and hers & hers matching underwear sets with ‘Yours’ and ‘Mine’ emblazoned on them, in the style of Beyoncé’s new album cover.
You can get your hands on this perfect (but a little bit pointless) Valentine’s Day gift for just under €30 from Beyoncé’s online store.
In the past, Yoncé has been public with her support of same-sex marriage. Last year, she posted a photo of a handwritten note on her Instagram and Facebook saying “If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it,” followed by the hashtag “#Wewillunite4marriageequality!”
Her husband Jay Z has also been vocal about gay rights. He told CNN, “What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination, plain and simple.”
