Famed photographer Mario Testino, who was once described by The Observer as “The world’s most prolific fashion trade photographer”, has launched an online series with some very famous faces trading high fashion looks for a simple and classic staple – the white towel.

The idea was born when Testino, who is the preferred photographer of British royalty, took a head-on shot of supermodel, BFF and “muse” Kate Moss to striking result.

The 59 year-old photographer, who recently shot Cristiano Ronaldo for his provocative Vogue Spain cover, has been posting the shots on his Instagram recently with the hashtag #TowelSeries. For the full series, which is still in progress, see Testino’s Instagram page, which we think you’ll agree has no shortage of A-lister shots.
