- A reported 80,000 LGBT marchers took to the streets of Taipei for Taiwan Pride on Saturday, October 29. (The Telegraph)
- A man who put hydrochloric acid inside a lubricant dispenser at a Sydney gay sauna has been spared jail. 62 year-old Hengky Irawan was arrested with a bottle of acid, a funnel and a knife after his attempts to pour hydrochloric acid into a lube dispenser set off an alarm. Irawan was sentenced to a two-year good behaviour bond. (ABC)
- Hillary Clinton took to the stage at a gay bar at the weekend and pledged to continue the LGBT rights advances seen in recent years. Clinton also told crowds at Florida’s Wilton Manor Complex that she plans to ban conversion therapy if elected. (Washington Blade)
- A possibly-fake but definitely hilarious Yelp review of Berlin’s notorious Berghain has gone viral. The lengthy review, written by an American tourist called Kyle W., tells of Kyle’s eye-popping experience inside “the world’s best club”. (Gay Star News)
- Billionaire Paypal founder and Trump supporter Peter Thiel denounced a recent piece on The Advocate – which says he is “a man who has sex with men, but not a gay man” – as an example of ‘LGBT intolerance’. (The Advocate)
