Mother and Absolut are teaming up for the fabulous Daytime Dance Party: The Doll Edition. This is the latest edition of their signature party, and this time, it will also be a fundraiser for Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI).
Taking place at The George on Saturday, October 3, from 3pm to 8pm, Daytime Dance Party: The Doll Edition will bring together drag, DJs and dancing while celebrating Ireland’s trans, intersex and non-binary communities.
The event focuses on visibility. The Dolls have historically shaped and redefined queer culture, often doing so while being erased elsewhere. This party will celebrate our trans, intersex, and non-binary siblings with a vibrant queer lineup of talent, both DJing and performing.
Cormac Cashman, co-promoter of Mother, said the organisers were proud to support TENI through the event. “This is the first one raising funds, and we’re proud it’s for TENI,” he said, adding that The George gives the party a home “with decades of queer history in the walls”.
The George also spoke about the importance of using Dublin’s queer nightlife to give back to the community. Darragh Flynn, general manager of the venue, said the collaboration was about using “the energy of queer nightlife in Dublin to support an organisation doing vital work for the trans community”.
The event marks the latest collaboration between Mother and Absolut, but will be the first of their Daytime Dance Parties to raise funds for charity. It will feature a packed lineup of performers, with DJs Glamo, Shrem, Mars Montana, Ruth Kavanagh, Shaqira Knightly, Toni & Tony, Dr Count Evil, Anziety and Queeen Marie all set to appear. The talented Mother dancers will also perform throughout the afternoon.
Tickets operate on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a suggested minimum of €5, and all ticket revenue will go to TENI. Attendees will also receive a complimentary Absolut welcome drink. The event is strictly for people aged 18 and over.
TENI is Ireland’s national advocacy organisation that works for the transgender community. It is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, marking two decades of trans activism, community and care across Ireland.
