Legendary New York-based performance artist, cabaret singer, and drag star Joey Arias is set to join Veda and her Coven at The George, on witchy Wednesday, February 8.
From the event’s organiser:
“This stunning chanteuse has had an amazing career on the international cabaret scene and has performed with greats like Klaus Nomi and David Bowie and also appeared in the Too Funky video with George Michael.
She is a muse to fashion designer Thierry Mugler and a style icon in her own right. Don’t miss this chance to share an intimate evening of jazz and laughter with this amazing creature and celebrating her first ever Dublin show.”
Arias has also appeared in several movies and even portrayed Joan Crawford in a theatrical production called ‘Christmas with the Crawfords‘, an original holiday spoof of Christina Crawford’s book Mommie Dearest.
