The first clip from the long awaited ‘Freeheld’ is finally here. Watch Ellen Page put the moves on Julianne Moore.

The LGBT rights biopic, which is tipped to be an Oscar contender, stars Julianne Moore as a police officer diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. The story follows her fight to have her pension benefits left to her domestic partner Stacie Andree (Page) after her death.

Speaking about her role as Stacie, Page said she was humbled to portray a person who fought for LGBT rights, particularly after she herself came out as a lesbian last year.

“To be shooting the movie so soon after coming out was some of the most joy I’ve ever felt on a film set, which is a tricky thing to say because we’re telling a story that’s incredibly tragic,” she said.

“But the feeling of being out and playing someone who’s gay, and someone whose courage has allowed me to live my life, that feels amazing.”
