GCN spoke to demonstrators outside Leinster House who gathered on January 16 to bring attention to the proposed Children and Families Relationship Act, which was originally enacted in 2015 but is yet to be passed. The bill provides no legal recognition to many LGBT+ families, including gay fathers and same-sex couples who received IVF treatment abroad.
