Bodytonic joins forces with HOME and Benefit for a super seductive Valentine’s Day special in the Twisted Pepper.
HOME welcome Horse Meat Disco to the main room with Conor Lynch and Dan & Risteard providing support duties to the disco legends. Horse Meat Disco are a 4 piece London collective, who run the infamous Sunday nights in the Eagle nightclub in Vauxaull. They are all about creating a party atmosphere, playing original disco and boogie for people to dance to rather than for people to talk about. Expect songs to break hearts, fabulous props hanging from the roof designed by NCAD graduate Caroline Byrne, and a feel good atmosphere that the HOME collective are known for providing at their gigs.
Benefit take over the basement with house aficionado Medlar. Medlar is one of the original in-house producers for the prolific Wolf Music label. He has contributed to many sole and shared EPs off the Wolf Music imprint and released his first full length LP entitled “Sleep” in October 2013 to critical acclaim. Medlar has had releases featured on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and provides regular guest mixes for Rinse FM. On support are Oli Drakeford and Conor Foley & Brendan Corcoran (Live). Expect things to be dark and dubby in the basement.
