To celebrate Pride Month 2023, the lovely folks at Kildare Village will be hosting everyone’s favourite mammies’ boys, PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey, for a live recording of the smash hit I’m Grand Mam podcast.

On Saturday, June 10, the lads will be having their usual cuppa and chats in the heart of Ireland’s premiere shopping destination, discussing style and personal expression and what it means to them.

If you ask us, this sounds like the perfect way to get some outfit inspo for whatever Pride party you’re attending. After taking tips from Cork’s finest gay fashionistas, you’ll be in the perfect place to pick up the best seasonal bargains!

And if that weren’t enough, as we all know, Pride is about more than just rainbows and parties. It’s about supporting the community, and Kildare Village is doing just that. All the proceeds from this unmissable event will go directly to LGBTQ+ youth charity Belong To – an incredibly worthy cause.

In order to make a day of it, be sure to kick things off early with a celebration breakfast in Saba or Sprout. Then, enjoy shopping over 120 leading Irish and international brands.

After catching up on Kevin and PJ’s antics, finish the day in style with dinner and bubbles at Dunne & Crescenzi L’Officina.

With only 60 places available, this is going to be an intimate event not to be missed, so make sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are priced at €25 and available to buy from Eventbrite, and don’t forget, all the profits from the ticket sales will be donated to Belong To Youth Service.

GCN has been a vital, free-of-charge information service for Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community since 1988.

During this global COVID pandemic, we like many other organisations have been impacted greatly in the way we can do business and produce. This means a temporary pause to our print publication and live events and so now more than ever we need your help to continue providing this community resource digitally.

GCN is a registered charity with a not-for-profit business model and we need your support. If you value having an independent LGBTQ+ media in Ireland, you can help from as little as €1.99 per month. Support Ireland’s free, independent LGBTQ+ media.
