In a clip from Caitlyn Jenner’s new documentary ‘I Am Cait’, step-daughter Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West praise Jenner for her courage.

While Caitlyn admits that her and Kanye have never had a close relationship, the rapper had some empowering words for the reality star in the first episode of the docu-series, which documents Caitlyn’s transition in the public eye.

“I think it’s one of the strongest things that have happened in our…existence as human beings that are so controlled by perception,” he said, in a rarely seen moment of sincerity from the rap superstar.

“Cause you couldn’t have been up against more. Your daughter is a supermodel, you’re a celebrity…every type of thing, and it was still like, ‘Fuck everybody, this is who I am.’”
