— Emeli Sandé (@emelisande) April 2, 2022
The Scottish singer and songwriter shared in an interview in April that she is in a relationship with Yoana Karemova, a female classical pianist. Sandé says the relationship is going very well and she is, “happier than ever.”
When a fan asked Sandé if she identifies as bisexual she replies, “I’m not sure what I identify as but I guess so. I just feel like I should fall in love with whoever I fall in love with,” she said.
Jerrod Carmichael
Carmichael is an American stand-up comedian and actor that recently shared he was gay during his comedy show Rothaniel on HBO Max.
“I’m accepting the love, I really appreciate the love. My ego wants to rebel against it. I rebelled against it my whole life. I thought I’d never, ever come out. At many points I thought I’d rather die than confront the truth of that, to actually say it to people. Because I know it changes some people’s perceptions of me. I can’t control that,” he said.
Trinity The Tuck
In an Instagram post, a season 9 finalist for RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars 4 co-winner came out as transgender and non-binary.
Trinity wrote, “That’s why I altered my body starting at the age of 21 to look more feminine and also started hormone therapy for a short period.” They want to share their feelings with others and hope they know they are not alone.
