Acting legend, Meryl Streep, performed a gritty rock cover of Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ for her new movie.

Meryl Streep stars in the upcoming flick Ricki and The Flash which tells the story of a woman who abandons her family in order to chase her dreams of being a rockstar. The film was penned by Oscar winning screenwriter, Diablo Cody (Juno, Jennifer’s Body, Young Adult) and co-stars Kevin Kline, Mamie Gummer and Rick Springfield.

Of course, the role requires the lead to do more than a few musical numbers and since Streep is such a professional, she learned to play guitar especially for the role.
