DCU LGBTA society aims to provide DCU students with support and social occasions, helping to connect likeminded people.

Our events include weekly coffee mornings, DCU Drag Race, dedicated weeks for sexuality awareness, and social events like cinema trips. We put on information sessions and social events in equal measure to provide something for everyone. We also offer financial support for trans and GNC students to socially transition through the T-Fund.

You can contact the DCU LGBTA society via email at [email protected], or on Instagram and Facebook.

You can also contact the Students Union Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion at [email protected]

At DCU, our dedication to open and inclusive values fuels our mission ‘to transform lives and societies.’ We cannot truly deliver on that objective unless our University is a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of their identity, gender, or orientation.

In 2024, DCU launched Pride+, a new staff network for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. The creation of the network sends a clear signal that, for the DCU community, Pride is not just for June but is a year-round commitment. Pride+ is founded on the idea that “Diversity Connects Us”.
