Mullingar Pride are announcing their event calendar for the first half of 2017

Mullingar Pride is happy to announce its event calendar for the first half of 2017. After a very successful launch in 2016 and a number of LGBT-focused occasions, the group has announced a varied and inclusive list of events for all members of the local LGBT community for the coming months.

The group was founded early last year to provide a space for LGBT people in the town to socialise and to raise awareness of LGBT issues. In 2016 Mullingar Pride hosted a number of successful social nights, a trip to the Dublin Pride parade and a vigil to honor those murdered in the Orlando nightclub massacre.

The upcoming year kicks off with a night of bowling on Thursday February 9, a dining out night on March 4, and group cycle event on April 23. This will be followed by a social night in May and attendance at Dublin Pride in June.
