Valentina, who rose to prominence in the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is set to star in Fox’s live adaption of the beloved Broadway musical Rent, and a press release for the live TV event has revealed that she will also be partaking in All Stars 4.
The queen will star as Angel Dumott Schunard in the musical and will be joined by stars such as Vanessa Hudgens and Tinashe, but fans are probably more excited about the Drag Race revelation.
Speaking about the All Stars cast earlier this month at DragCon, RuPaul told a panel, “I can’t tell you exactly when it will be [All Stars 4], but it’s gonna be sooner than you think.” Well, it seems that the cast is being revealed before even RuPaul herself thinks.
While fans are buzzed about the revelation, we are still left to speculate about the other queens who have been rumoured to compete in All Stars 4.
1. Gia Gunn
Original season: 6
Placement: 10th
AS4 Hint: Gia hasn’t posted on Instagram since July 4, she has no upcoming shows. It has been rumoured also that All Stars 4 will feature a trans contestant.
2. Trinity Taylor
Original Season: 9
Placement: 3rd/4th
AS4 Hint: She has been quiet on social media since the first week of July and strangely has no upcoming gigs or bookings.
3. Naomi Smalls
Original Season: 8
Placement: Runner-up
HS4 Hint: Naomi has no upcoming shows since cancelling her last one, and hasn’t been active on social media since the end of June.
4. Monique Heart
Original Season: 10
Placement: 8th
AS4 Hint: Monique’s last social media interaction is dated July 8 and, like Monet, she cancelled her UK gigs with no sign of new ones.
5. Monét X Change
Original Season: 10
Placement: 6th/ Miss Congeniality
AS4 Hint: Monet cancelled all her UK shows and has been suspiciously quiet on social media.
6. Manilla Luzon
Original Season: 3/All-Stars 1
Placement: Runner-up/7th-8th
AS4 Hint: Unlike other queens on this list, Manila seems to be currently active on social media, but there are rumours that it’s her husband posting on her behalf. As per Latrice Royale, the Phi Phi O’Hara tweet could refer to her.
7. Latrice Royale
Original Season: 4/All-Stars 1
Placement: 4th/7th-8th
AS4 Hint: Latrice has been absent from social media and currently has no upcoming shows. Also, Phi Phi O’Hara confirmed via Twitter that some of the cast of previous seasons of All Stars would be in AS4.
8. Jasmine Masters
Original Season: 7
Placement: 12th
AS4 Hint: She cancelled all her shows in Australia and hasn’t been posting anything on social media since the first week of July.
9. Farrah Moan
Original Season: 9
Placement: 8th
AS4 Hint: Farrah’s last post on Instagram is dated July 5, which is very unlike her, plus she has cancelled a gig and doesn’t seem to have any upcoming shows at the moment.
