Sodomite Suppression Act? LGBT Activist Counters With Bizarre Proposal

Activists in California have proposed the Shellfish Suppression Act to counter an anti-gay act that would sentence gay people to death.

The newly proposed Shellfish Suppression Act suggests that because God condemned shellfish as an abomination in the Bible, it should be banned under law – just as the newly proposed Sodomite Suppression Act.

Seems reasonable.

Pro-gay activist Joe Decker has filed a counter-initiative based on Leviticus (who is really the main man for all the gay-haters) titled the Shellfish Suppression Act.

Leviticus 11:12 states that, “Whatsoever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.”

“Shellfish are a monstrous evil that Almighty God, giver of freedom and liberty, commands us in Leviticus to suppress. They also smell bad.,” the proposal states. (He’s wrong though because shellfish is delicious.)

“Any person who willingly consumes or sells shellfish is guilty of a felony, and shall be fined $666 thousand per occurrence, and/or imprisoned up to 6 years, 6 months, and 6 days.”

The proposal was made in response to the Sodomite Suppression Act – or Shoot the Gays Bill – filed last month.

In this proposal, bat-shit Christian lawyer Matt McLaughlin filed an initiative to create a Sodomite Suppression Act – also based on Leviticus – which would instil ‘Biblical’ values by introducing the death penalty for “buggery”.  (Yeah, he called it buggery…)

Luckily, California Attorney General Kamala Harris has some sense and, last month, said she would attempt to halt the unconstitutional act.

Both proposals need 350,000 valid signatures so neither is expected to survive because, let’s face it, Californians love shrimp and homosexuals.
