A group of conservatives from Boston have said they have convinced city officials to give the go-ahead to a “straight pride” parade which is scheduled to take place August 31.
The event is being organised by a group called Super Happy Fun America. The group’s website stated that the president of the group, John Hugo “started Super Happy Fun America in order to advocate on behalf of the straight community.

“He brings years of experience working in politics while living openly as a straight man.” Vice President Mark Sahady “has been working on and speaking about social justice issues in the Boston area for several years. Now he has turned his focus on problems facing straight people of all income levels and social standing.”
Sahady is the leader of the Boston chapter of a small far-right group ‘Resist Marxism’ which reportedly promotes anti-Semitism and white supremacy.
The Boston Chapter of Democratic Socialists outlined that Sahady likes to get his picture taken with neo-Nazis and travels around the country participating in far-right marches inextricably linking the Straight Pride movement to the White Pride movement.
Wait…is Boston seriously having a Straight Pride Parade!? This must be an internet hoax.

Super Happy Fun America has a gay ambassador, Chris Bartley and the group named LGBT+ advocate Brad Pitt as their mascot.

On their website, they state that Chris “uses his status in the LGBTQ community to challenge heterophobia wherever it exists” and that he became involved in straight pride having been “ostracised from established advocacy groups for merely suggesting that straight people be afforded equal rights.”
If you want a straight pride parade you have to be beaten, ostracized and bitterly maligned for 50 years. Then you can have your fucking parade you stupid fucks.

Hugo told the Washington Post that straight people are an “oppressed majority” and therefore need an outlet to be themselves.

Sahady wrote on Facebook that, “For [LGBT+ people] everything is based upon identity and whether or not one is categorized as a victim or an oppressor. If you get victim status then you are entitled to celebrate yourself and expect those with oppressor status to defer to your feelings.”
Each float in the straight pride parade is 10 guys explaining a different Coen brothers movie to you.

The straight pride parade is scheduled to take the same route as the city’s LGBT+ Pride event and will feature floats and vehicles. They are planning to have a straight flag raising ceremony at Boston City Hall.
Just tell the guys who wanna go to the Straight Pride Parade that the route starts at the clitoris and they'll never find it.

City officials have not publically spoken about the introduction of a straight pride week and instead emphasised the importance of Boston Pride Week.

“Every year Boston hosts our annual Pride Week, where our city comes together to celebrate the diversity, strength and acceptance of our LGBTQ community,” Boston’s Democratic mayor Marty Walsh told the Post in a statement. “This is a special week that represents Boston’s values of love and inclusion, which are unwavering.”
