Shake up your date night with something a little different – rather than the usual movie and a burger in your local omniplex, take a trip to Tattersalls and watch a romantic movie on the lawn, under the stars!

Love on the Lawn is the first in a new season of movie nights at Tattersalls, the handsome events venue and country house, set in 200 rolling acres of green Meath pastures, terraces and beautiful gardens, just half an hour from Dublin city centre.

On Saturday August 1st next at 9 p.m., Love on the Lawn at Tattersalls kicks off the movie nights season with the classic romantic comedy, When Harry Met Sally. The quintessential feel-good relationship movie, When Harry Met Sally ticks all the boxes for a good night out, with its snappy script, witty one-liners and (spoiler alert!) happy ending! The second film on the following evening, Sunday August 2nd, is Pretty Woman, an all-time favourite for many.

Tickets cost €10 per person for the movie and a glass of sparkling Dalliance 2013 each, the delicious cider from Irish artisan producers Craigies, a dry sparkling cider more similar to a sparkling wine than a traditional cider. There will be a Craigies pop-up bar on both nights too, along with Burger Republic serving their gorgeous gourmet burgers, and other foodie treats to enjoy.

Couples can snuggle up and enjoy the movie, and with a photographer in the Secret Garden at Tattersalls – which has a lovely flower wall, water feature and even a swing – this special date night can be recorded for posterity too!

On the lawn directly in front of the beautiful country house, Love on the Lawn at Tattersalls Country House takes place on Saturday August 1st and Sunday August 2nd.
