Get ready, Dublin, for the Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist and songwriter, Tove Lo, who will take to the stage of the 3Olympia Theatre on October 29 of this year.

As if that isn’t enough to get our little gay hearts racing, she’s also just released an epic music video for her brand new track, ‘No One Dies From Love’. The music video shows the futuristic love story between Tove Lo and a lab-created robot, Annie 3000.

“All the songs on the album are very cinematic, dramatic and grand, so for the visual story I want to attach a character to each song,” Tove said on the music video directed by the Brazilian duo Alaska and filmed in Mexico City. “For ‘No One Dies From Love’ it’s the classic vulnerable, lonely starlet looking for connection. This mini-movie is a different kind of love story.”

The track was co-written as part of a collaboration between Tove Lo and Ludvig Söderberg, with the former saying, “when you’re with someone for a long time and it ends all of a sudden, it’s like a part of you has died,” on the inspiration behind the song.

“This person is now a stranger to you. All of the memories are tainted. For the first part of the breakup, you believe you’re not supposed to feel good about anything you had together. What I believe I do best is ‘heartbreak you can dance to.’ The song is that.”

‘No One Dies From Love’ is the first track released under Tove’s own brand new record label, Pretty Swede Records with mtheory. “It’s amazing. I have a lot of freedom, and it’s been fun to work with mtheory,” she said. “I’m a pop girl, but I like to make things weird and be in full control of the whole vision. This is the perfect way to put out exactly what I want.”
