We caught up with Louis Copeland, suit maker extraordinaire for this month’s My Town
Louis Copeland, owner and manager of Louis Copeland & Sons, one of Ireland’s most well known suit makers, took some time to answer a few questions in the pre-Christmas madness.
1. In ten words or less, tell us why you love doing business in Dublin town?
Dublin people are friendly and they trust us.
2. If you could do one thing to impove Dublin, what would it be?
I’d improve the transport system by adding in an underground scheme.
3. Your favourite Dubliner of all time, dead or alive?
Noel Purcell, because of his voice.
4. Hidden gem in the city?
Brother Hubbard is definitely a gem, although I don’t know how hidden it is!
5. Your favourite thing about Capel Street?
I really enjoy the mix of retailers on Capel Street.
6. What’s your top tip for tourists?
The Viking Tour.
