Ed Sheeran tweeted to his followers in Ireland to vote for equality, before kissing his ‘Undateable’ co-star in a live episode last night.
Ginger songster Ed Sheeran has become the most recent celebrity to endorse a Yes vote in Ireland’s upcoming referendum, tweeting his support to his 13.5million followers.

Following this, he appeared on US tv show Undateable as himself and performed for the crowd. He appeared on two live versions of the show in one night, for East Coast and West Coast audiences.
For the first showing, his character encouraged his Twitter followers to slap a character played by Brent Morin after the character insults him.
In the later airing, Ed Sheeran decides to plant a surprise kiss on Morin’s lips, much to the delight of the audience.
In fairness, Ed seems to enjoy it.
