We just wanted to share new character, Johnny Carter’s coming out scene from Sunday’s episode EastEnders because it’s something we think everyone should see.

Played by Sam Strike, Johnny was seen kissing a guy before all was revealed. It’s a long scene, but click to ten minutes in, and  if you don’t find yourself shedding a tear… well, then you’ve a heart of stone.

Although the reaction to the EastEnders storyline has been largely positive to this new spin on the coming out tale, Danny Dyer who plays Johnny’s Dad, did receive some twitter hate. In response, he posted this picture.

We wish Danny Dyer was our daddy!
