UK gay man, Stavros, completely outshines his “skinny, muscular” competitors in Mr. Gay UK – despite weighing over 30 stone.

Stavros Louca is openly gay, weighs around 30 stone (420lbs), and is used to hearing offensive comments about his size. Sick of the haters, and on the search for Mr. Right–  he came up with a plan.

He would enter the Mr. Gay UK pageant.

“I thought people would laugh at me, throw abusive language at me,” he says in the video by The Guardian below, “but everyone deserves a bit of happiness.”

Congratulations, Stavros. Way to shatter stereotypes around what a gay man is MEANT to look like.
