Apparently,  beloved ‘American Horror Story’ matriarch Jessica Lange completely snubbed ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele at the premiere of ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show‘.

Lea Michele was all smiles at the premiere of the long awaited fourth season of the horror series, which is the brainchild of Glee creator Ryan Murphy. While flashing the pearly whites for the camera, Jessica Lange walked in Lea’s direction. The rising star tried to say hello only to get completely ignored by the veteran – but to Lea’s credit, she recovered well!

Either Lange was:

A) in a serious hurry

B) had no time for up-and-coming Lange wannabes and was throwing some shade, or

C) this is just a complete overreaction, and there is no bad blood whatsoever.

In fairness, option C) is probably the correct one – but it hasn’t stopped the internet from speculating on why Lange threw so much shade.

Stop pitting successful females against eachother, internet.
