Considering that Lady Gaga is all about the gays, the only thing we find surprising is that she hasn’t helped facilitate a gay proposal before now!

Lady Gaga called Jay on-stage at her Manchester concert this week, to propose to his boyfriend Shaun before embracing the couple and serenading them with a stripped down version of gay anthem Born This Way. 

After the emotional moment, Gaga revealed that early in her career, her label criticised her show for being “too gay”. She told the crowd, “My record label, a long time ago, they told me that my show is ‘too gay’ and I was ‘too gay’ or this was ‘too gay.’

“I told them, ‘Well it’s a great thing that there are gay people all over the world!’ Real human beings with real dreams and real stories … you deserve to love and express your love the same as everybody around the world. I wish you a beautiful love and happy marriage.”
