In advance of the release of her second album, critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Ciara Sidine returns to the stage this Friday.

In 2012, when Ciara Sidine burst onto the Irish music scene with her debut album, Shadow Road Shining, Hot Press called her “one of the most talented singer-songwriters to emerge from Ireland in decades.”

The Irish Times said of Shadow Road Shining “a finely rounded, richly produced album of Americana… vocals and lyrics so distilled they reveal fresh angles with each repeated exposure”, and with it Sidine began to build a devoted fanbase at home and across Europe for her arresting voice, along with her unique celtic-bluegrass style.

Since then, Sidine has been writing and recording a host of new songs for her forthcoming album, Unbroken Line, some of which she will be debuting at her first Dublin gig in over a year, this Friday.

Having built up a strong LGBT fanbase, Sidine is looking forward to sharing her new material, and some favourites too, with longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Ciara Sidine plays at Woodstock, Phibsboro on Friday 3 October, as part of Phizzfest.
