A 66 year-old woman, calling herself “an ambassador of God and Jesus Christ” is suing all gay people.
Sylvia Driskell, of Auburn, Nebraska has asked a federal judge to decide whether or not homosexuality is a sin. Driskell wrote a 7 page petition to the court in which she states that homosexuality is “an abomination” and then challenged the court to “not call God a liar”.
In the petition, which cited mostly Bible verses, Driskell says that ‘homosexuality is a sin” and that “the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality.” She asks, “Why else would they have been hiding in the closet(?)”
She goes on to write, “I never thought that I would see a day in which our great nation or our own great state of Nebraska would become so compliant to the complicity of some people(’s) lewd behavior.”
Driskell, who we can only assume has very little legal training, is representing herself.
