Australian-American musician Betty Who has announced that she is coming to Dublin, and she is set to share the stage with some very special guests. The pop mainstay will headline the Button Factory on February 5, 2023 accompanied by resident Mother DJs in what is sure to be a night to remember.
The gig comes as part of her wider BIG! world tour, which follows the release of her latest album by the same name. The 11 track project is her most personal work to date, and the singer told Bustle: “I’m actively trying to stand out and be myself as opposed to trying to hide with everybody else.”
An LGBTQ+ icon, Betty Who has not only soundtracked Netflix’s Queer Eye and collaborated with drag royalty Pabllo Vittar, but she has also formed deep ties with foundations like GLAAD and the Trevor Project as a result of her campaigning work. It’s for this reason and more that the Mother DJs are the perfect accompanying act, sure to bring the party and hype up the crowd.
Singer-songwriter NEVE will also be joining the tour, supporting Betty Who in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London, and of course Dublin. Meanwhile, Shea Couleé will support the pop star on the US leg.
