In this week’s issue of Catwoman (#39) all of our dreams came true. It was confirmed that Selina Kyle is bisexual.

The character of Selina Kyle has been, for the last four issues, heading up a Mafia family with her costume going to Eiko Hasigaway, the new Catwoman for now.

In the latest issue there is an emotional scene where Selina Kyle is almost murdered by a Mafia family. Eiko begs Selina to be careful – then Selina pulls Eiko close and kisses her.

Writer Genevieve Valentine, who took over the series in October, wrote on her blog that establishing Selina Kyle as “canon bisexual” was an “indispensable” beat she always had intended to hit in the series.

“She’s flirted around it — often quite literally — for years now,” wrote Valentine. “For me, this wasn’t a revelation so much as a confirmation.”

So, trying to avoid some CATWOMAN #39 spoilers (just for today), but if you have any questions, the answer is: Yes, it’s canon.
