ABC News has set the date for an in-depth interview with Kardashian patriarch, Bruce Jenner.
On Monday, ABC News announced that Bruce Jenner: The Interview, a two-hour special with Diane Sawyer, will air Friday, April 24.
Following months of speculation surrounding Jenner’s apparent gender transition and multiple cosmetic surgeries, it seems that all will soon be revealed.
Without disclosing the details, ABC News has confirmed that their interview with Bruce Jenner will be “far-ranging” and “exclusive”, without revealing any details in the lead-up.
According to CNN, the interview was taped back in February – when rumours of the interview first surfaced – a mere two months after Bruce and wife Kris Jenner’s divorce was finalised.
Due to the timing of the interview, Sawyer will probably not mention the fatal car crash Jenner was involved in.
A GLAAD spokesperson has said, “ABC has not confirmed that this special is about Bruce Jenner’s gender identity, so we strongly urge media outlets to not speculate about the details of the interview.”
