Rylan Clark-Neal and his husband Dan are to host ‘This Morning’ together, becoming the first gay married couple on British TV

Rylan and his hubby will replace regular hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford for the summer, having appeared together on This Morning together last December. After their appearance, Rylan said:

“Obviously, me and Dan do a lot of work together away from TV on the development side, so we are used to doing stuff like that. But to do stuff on camera together was a little bit strange. But I really enjoyed doing it. It was really nice and it felt easy because it was ­something we both wanted to talk about.”

A show insider told the Daily Mirror: “Rylan is hugely popular with the This Morning audience and working with Dan again will provide key chemistry a show like this requires with its hosts.”

The pair will make their first broadcast together on July 8. Rylan has risen in popularity as a TV presenter since he appeared on The X Factor in 2012, hosting Big Brother’s Bit On The Side for Channel 5. He is also currently filming new panel show, Codswallop Club for ITV 2.
