Competition: Win a pair of tickets to the hilarious Comedy Gold in the Button Factory

Kick off your weekend the best way possible by winning free tickets to Comedy Gold at the Button Factory!

Lolsy Byrne and Justine Strafford, regular acts at Comedy Gold at the Button Factory.

Comedy Gold is a night of hilarity with an amazing lineup of regular stand-up acts, such as Grace Mulvey, Emily Ashmore, and Kate Feeney. Up for grabs is a pair of tickets for lucky winners, and as the show takes place every Friday, you get to choose the week you want to head down to the Button Factory for a hearty laugh.

Founded by Emily O’Callaghan, this stand-up club has taken off like a rocket since its launch back in the summer of 2018. “Since its first night, it has gone from strength to strength,” Emily said.

The club is in big demand, with requests to set up a festival stage pouring in from Kaleidoscope, Electric Picnic, and KFest. The show will also be part of the lineup for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival. So now’s a great time to catch the show at its regular venue to see what it has to offer.

Just to give you a taste of what to expect in the upcoming weeks; the talented Abie Philbin Bowman will be MCing this Friday.

Every week there is a different lineup of phenomenal regulars. Alongside the ones mentioned previously, the club features Justine Stafford, Ashlee Bentley, and Siomha Cassidy. The talent on display is pure comedy gold (we see what they did there). In March 2019, Comedy Club staged the wonderful Trans Special night, with proved to be a roaring success.

Comedy Gold takes place upstairs in the VIP rooms at the Button Factory. Doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets are made available weekly on Eventbrite for €12.

To be in with a chance to win a pair of tickets to any Comedy Gold night of your choosing, simply answer the question below. The winner will be announced on Friday, August 9.
