Returning in 2026 for another year of celebrating queer art while raising vital funds for Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, the Arthouse auction is set to launch on October 15. With over 360 artworks by more than 240 artists, the event is set to spotlight Ireland’s incredible talent while supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
Having become a staple in the Irish queer calendar, Arthouse is Outhouse’s biggest annual fundraiser. Every euro raised through the auction helps ensure that the centre can continue to provide a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community in the very heart of Dublin.
Hosting the launch of the 2026 Arthouse exhibition will be none other than Rory O’Neill, aka the Queen of Ireland Panti Bliss. The launch event will give visitors a unique opportunity to see the collection in person at Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, on Dublin’s Capel Street.
This year’s auction will bring together an incredible collection of works by participating artists, including Yoko Akino, Hazel Coonagh, Brian Teeling, Lee Welch, Gabhann Dunne, Shane O’Driscoll, Em Blake, Tom Climent, Carolyn Walsh, Neil Dunne, Leah Beggs, Colin Martin, and many more. The auction will offer a wide range of styles, mediums, and price points.
Speaking ahead of the launch, CEO of Outhouse Oisín O’Reilly said: “Arthouse is such an important part of the life of Outhouse. Every year, we’re incredibly grateful to the artists who donate their time and work, and to everyone who buys a piece and helps us keep our doors open.
“This year’s collection is particularly exciting, and we’re delighted that Rory O’Neill will be joining us to officially open Arthouse 2026. The launch is a chance to celebrate the incredible artists taking part, but also to remind people of what their support makes possible for the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year.”

Up to 50% of the sales will go to the artists themselves, while the remaining funds will help Outhouse in their mission to welcome, support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
“I’ve always believed that art should be part of the community and not just something that exists on gallery walls,” said Solus, an Irish contemporary artist. “Spaces like Outhouse provide an important place for people to connect, express themselves and feel part of something.”
Artist Sinead Clarke, whose print ‘Long May She Reign’ celebrates Panti, said: “I’m proud that my print can play a small part in supporting Outhouse. Artists draw so much from the communities around us, and when we have the opportunity to give something back, I think we should.”
The auction is set to take place over two days, with final bids for Day 1 beginning at 3pm on Saturday, November 7, and Day 2 beginning at 3pm on Sunday, November 8. However, advance bidding will be available after the launch event via the Arthouse free app (on the App Store and Google Play).
