Bohemian’s fans fly the flag for LGBT equality in sports
At a match between Sligo Rovers and Bohemians on Saturday at Dalymount Park, Bohemians fans held a flag supporting LGBT rights.
It is not the first time the club has shown such forward thinking. A mural painted last September at Dalymount Park, highlighted the migrant crisis. The mural welcomes refugees to the club.
This highlights recent strides towards acceptance in a historically homophobic sport. Bohemians FC are leading the way in Irish sport when it comes to acceptance.
